"Sea-Change" Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir

$39.00

Full fathom five thy father lies;
Of his bones are coral made;
Those are pearls that were his eyes;
Nothing of him that doth fade,
But doth suffer a sea change
Into something rich and strange.
Sea-nymphs hourly ring his knell:
Ding-dong.
Hark! now I hear them — Ding-dong, bell.

--The Tempest, Act I, Scene II

How something ordinary can change into something beautiful and mysterious. Just like with grapes in winemaking. They start as simple fruit and, through a careful process, become a complex, elegant wine. Made and bottled during a period of deep personal transition in life.
